Mk5 GTI Carbonio Panel Filter Replacement

Hi all.

I need to replace the panel filter in my Carbonio Intake as it is starting to split etc.

I don't think i have an APR Carbonio as it looks different to some APR ones i have seen on mk5 GTI's and has no APR sticker. Will go and take a picture of it in a minute.

Do you know where i can just source the panel filters alone rather than having to buy a whole Inatke?

The carbonio type intake uses the standard airbox so just replace it with a standard filter.

The APR Carbonio is just a carbon air inlet scoop.
The OE filter remains inside the engine cover.
Here is a vid showing how to replace it.

Just be more careful when removing it and replacing the engine cover/air box. Many times, people damage or crack the fuel pressure regulator on top of the HPFP when fooling around with the engine cover. I cringed when he set the engine cover on top of it in the vid...because this can happen:
