Hi, Thanks for your reply. What pads did the brake kit come with and did you use the car on the track at all? Thanks

--- Quote from: colesey on February 03, 2021, 06:08:50 am ---@EBC Brakes UK - are you able to share your thoughts with us on whether there is a need / much benefit to upgrade rear pads after the front ones have been upgraded? Also would they need the same model type eg Yellow front but maybe green at rear.

Hi, Thanks for your question. We would always suggest balancing the front and rears with the same colour pad.

Yes, ok but to answer my main question - what are the benefits of doing so and how significant are they?

Thanks again, if you send us your email address (PM) or email technical@ebcbrakesuk.com We can get a full response to your question for you.

I really don’t understand why you can’t just post your reply here for the benefit of other readers. That was afterall the purpose for which you said you were here for in your first post.
Anyhow, I bought your red stuff front pads about 4 years ago upon the recommendation of Racingline for road use. They had some good bite once they had some heat in them but initial bite from cold was numb, which really isn’t a good thing for a road compound. The low dust aspect was good but they were otherwise markedly inferior in all other respects to the Endless MX72 I replaced them with. Maybe your more recent products have improved.

I wouldn’t use EBC pads even if they were free
