It's a rubbish waste of time for poseurs only. Dan GSR on GolfMkV gave it a thorough bashing. It will do absolutely nothing to increase the stiffness of the (already-very-stiff) platform. It's too high and too far forward of the rear struts to do any good, and the diagonal piece adds nothing.

tl;dr: avoid.
