EKTA help
« on: March 29, 2010, 01:28:18 pm »
Anyone have access to EKTA?

I need some help and part numbers please.

My Edition 30 and the R32 both have centre arm resets. Now they both have the cubby hole/storage bin and Aux socket inside. Now I would like to swap the one in the R32 for the 6 CD changer (it has the RNS510 installed) and still keep the aux socket, now viewing my mates Silver Edition 30 at work who has the CD Changer the Aux socket now appears on the outside of the arm rest housing in front of the handbrake.

Now do I need to swap the arm reset housing or is it a case of a little pop out platic window, buying the aux external socket and connecting it up? Plus will the CD Changer just drop straight in once the cubby hole/storage bin is taken out?

So I'm after the part number for the cable from the RNS510 to the CD changer.
Part numbers for the housing if I need to swap it, plus any other bits you may think I'll need.

TIA :happy2:
Cheers,

Wayne

I haven't got the part numbers to hand but did confirm last night on ETKA you need a replacement plastic armrest housing and different ducting for the rear vents.  :sad1:

Steve,

thanks once again.

Now is the plastic bit or the actual arm rest (leather bit) thats sits on top of the plastic housing? And I take it its come with the external connection for the aux port and also the CD Changer inside?
Cheers,

Wayne

It's item 15 here (image shows the standard version that you have now): -

It just the outer cover that goes over the arm rest shell to give you the space to install the CD Changer. None of them come with the hole for the aux in to be moved, you have to create that yourself with a drill and a file.  :happy2:
