Hi, I'm looking at new tyres for my refurbished ED 30 Pescaras... I know the general consensus is Michelin SP4's, but I like the look of the ample rim protection on the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5...
He talks about rim protection at 2:00 in...
Looking at them when stacked up, the Goodyears are in the middle and as well as the ample rim protection you can see on the top tyre, the whole stack looks taller.
I was going to go with the existing consensus and get the SP4's, but seeing the extra protection the F1A5s give to the rim I may be swayed. Their performance isn't a mile away from each other is it? I drive like a vicar most of the time anyway ;)
Cheers
