The cap is 60mm across its front face, but the hole is stepped to about 56 or 57mm at the point where the cap's clips fit. Does this help? I could take a pic?

Si/Mike, still remember them being an awkward size, something like 54mm (one or two mil below the standard fits around eBay and what have you).

I ended up getting some 3D dome vinyl logo things and stuck them on as I couldn't find a VW cap to seat properly. Came off a treat, nothing some AG tar remover couldn't solve.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of Turinis. One quick question: with the stock suspension on my Edition 30 will they rub the fender?

Been very close to pulling the same trigger myself!  One of the best OEM+ wheels for a MK5 ever  :happy2:

They're 8J ET43 IIRC?  If you hit a deep enough hole mid corner, they will indeed rub the arch.  I've had arch contact from the OEM 7.5J ET51 wheels

You can mitigate the problem with stiffer suspension and/or stiffer ARBs though....and also removing the arch liner screw/tab.
