Could someone tell me what this button actually does? On the pillar between driver side front and rear doors

It's to stop the alarm going off if there's movement in the car like a animal in the back

Oh Christ I didn’t think it had an alarm, my siren must be broken then as it’s never gone off and when I code it to chirp when unlocking and locking it doesn’t work :(

Check the fuse for the alarm is OK first. It's common than the siten goes faulty when the siren battery leaks. Its under the drivers wing behind the wheel gaurd

Check fuse 35  5amp alarm fuse
