Mk6 Golf GTD TDI / Coil Light & Limp Mode
« on: September 17, 2021, 04:14:42 pm »
 Hey,
The last 5-6 times I have driven my Golf 2.0 TDI a coil light comes on the dash remains and flashes and then goes off once I cut power to the engine.
The car goes into full limp mode and has no power.
Kev

I diagnosed my neighbours GTD the other day, needs a turbo position sensor, local garage wanted to replace the turbo for a grand!

MY LOCAL specialist Maxtreme in Wisbech can fix it for £326.

If its a turbo fault just drive slowly or even better get it recovered.
