New but not new 10 year absense
« on: August 01, 2021, 11:18:01 am »
Hi everyone just got back into a mk5 after journey into mk7 gtd and r. Needing to spend some money on the house so swapped the R for a 58 Pirelli edition. Fairly low spec except sat nav and cruise. Needs a little tlc body and mechanical wise and looking forward to bringing it back to how it should be. Pic below . Not sure what everyone thinks of the wheels. Got them off a family member as mrs hated the standard Pirelli wheels and wanted something more aggressive . Got the originals packed away to go back on though as I don’t think I would find a set in a hurry. See my last post was 2011….time flies

I agree with your Mrs, I find those Pirelli wheels very boring.

Back in a MK5 myself after years away in new Leon Cupras. Pirelli looks great dude, had those wheels on my S3 but think I still prefer the Pirelli ones from an OEM perspective. Enjoy the car dude
