Having a really weird problem with my 2008 mk5 gti, when cursing at 70-80mph and try accelerate you will get 5 second of power and then a sudden loss the car will keep accelerating but it is very slow, after laying off the accelerator for about 15 second all the power returns, I can also keep the throttle wide open when this happens for the same amount of time and agin all the power comes back

Specs:
Stage 2 map running 277bhp and 326ftb
Oversized ram air intake
Red top ignition coils
Air tech intercooler
High pressure fuel pump (not the auto tech internals)
Decat down pipe
3” pipe straight
Still running ko3 turbo

Part of me thinks it may be a bad map as I am getting a p2096 code which is post catalyst fuel trim system running lean on bank 1

Completely stumped as I have talked to a few people and they have all had different answer, any help would be much appreciated
