Timing issue.
« on: August 17, 2021, 04:19:43 pm »
Hi all, I have a timing related question, my car is showing a timing fault, 000022 . In measuring block 91 the reading is 35 degrees which, if I understand correctly, means the inlet cam is in advance of the crank and needs resetting. My question is, looking at the variator from the passenger wing, does in need to move clockwise or anti-clock wise to correct the issue?
Thanks in advance, Keith.

Anti-clockwise.  28KW is the default position.

I would get the crank marks lined up, and then see where the cam & VVT phaser timing marks are sitting.
