Stage 1.5?

Hi, I have the KO3 turbo plus the VIS internals in my HPFP, a S3 intercooler, a miltek cat back and a soon to be removed pre-cat.

Not having the sports cat or decat means I seem to sit in between APR stage 1 and 2 hardware requirements.

I'm near Awesome GTI in Manchester who sell APR maps but would go to Rtech if I'd get a better map.

To make the most of my mods would I be best seeking out a custom map?

I also have k03 with vis pump and precat delete, using Revo stage 1 whose SPS controller allows more aggressive boost / timing / fueling profiles to be set. Am still using stock exhaust and intake as I don’t want noise and potential MOT hassles.

I would however agree with Muff that a custom map would be the best way to go to take advantage of the extra fuel volume (possibly with the extra pressure headroom of the rs4 fprv) and some time back RTech used to list a stage 1.5 for this spec, which gave some great torque gains.

Stealth Racing is another option.  They make the same numbers as R-Tech but much shorter wait time.

I've sent Stealth an email, see how much they charge and what the waiting time is.
