Did you split the engine box to fit a clutch or keep it as one lump?
Does it turn over by hand?
The engine was kept as one lump, engine gearbox with all ancillaries, which is the reason was mad confused..
Clearly we fudged something up with the install. It wasn’t turning by hand at all.
However it’s good news.
And laughable. Learnt my lesson
Spent this evening removing the gearbox to inspect that maybe it could be gearbox related.
Wait for it …………
Mixed up the bolts on the dogbone mount, so the longer bolt was jammed into the flywheel stopping the engine from turning.
Just dreading getting the gearbox in now, such a pain removing.
Turned the engine by hand and free as a daisy.
Lesson learnt …. Don’t mix up your bolts
