Hi guys im new to this forum so first of all would like to just say good day
I have a 2006 mk5 golf gt tdi 2.0 bkd with a standard climate panel in
i have recently fitted edition 30 seats and obviously needed a new heater panel with the seat switches. After some shopping around i managed to find a panel from a mk6 i was happy with so i purchased that.. Now i already know the original heater box vent position works off of a cable and not electric so first main question.. What is involved to get a motor fitted instead of a cable so that the vent positions can be changed (was planning on sticking the cable to windscreen/face and just leaving it)
The next issue is that my aircon button does not light up or work the aircon at all. So my old panel said ECON and not A/C so i gather there is a difference somewhere. So second question would be what will it take to get the A/C button to work?
Iff anyone could help me with this it would be unbelievably appreciated.
