Whats my Golf GTI worth?

Hey all, been thinking about selling my 2011 Golf GTi & getting something different (not sure what). Firstly i know it is a MK6 but I noticed the MK5 section has more active viewers although I will delete/move the post if needed. Now back to the car…

Its a 2011 5 door manual in Candy White (rare colour i believe). Currently on 70,000 miles & unfortunately a Cat S however it has been repaired to a high standard, drives bang on & still have the logbook with all receipts and services from day 1. (I am aware a Cat s car may reduce value & potential buyers.

Its had a few things done too it aswell which i will note below, whether or not this ads value or not I don’t know.

Mods + Spec:
 - R8 coilpacks
 - Ramair Air intake
 - Custom downpipe & exhaust W/ mk7 Tips 3” instead of 2.5
 - RTS stage 2 twin friction clutch & luk dual mass flywheel (about £1100 with labour)
 - Stage 2 MSL remap (291bhp 323lbft with printout)
 - 18”X8J Audi Rotor style wheels wrapped in Mitchellin pilot sport 4’s
- Full heated leather interior
- Rns 510 sat-nav from factory



The car has a massive amount of receipts & always been serviced + maintained when needed most recently being - new genuine rear springs & rear discs/pads totalling around £400.

May have missed a few things but just looking for a rough estimate, Love to hear anyones thoughts & if anyone has a reasonable offer message me. (Any car suggestions for the upgrade would be nice too).

It’s a tough one to call really due to the mods/cat S.

If it was standard you’d be looking about £8k but I think the mods will put most buyers off, so expect about £7k.

But, with 2nd hand car prices the way they are at the minute, and the mods might appeal to the right buyer, if you hold out for that right buyer you could be looking at £9k.

OP, yes the cat S is the elephant in the room I think. Do you have pics of the damage to show buyers?
If so that might ease any worries perhaps....
