Leaking fuel after refitting inlet manifold

I’ve just had the inlet manifold off my 2005 gti to carry out a few jobs,I’ve now refitted everything and I’ve got a pretty major fuel leak! I’m presuming it’s not seated properly on the rail/injector o rings (injectors stayed in head with o rings on) but before I open it up again tomorrow,is there anything else that could be the cause of this? It’s hard to see where it’s coming from if I’m honest but looks like the rail/injector area,I’ve done a bit of a search but can’t seem to find anything along the same lines,are they usually hard to get seated?

Did you lube the o-rings? - if assembled dry, one may have torn

I recently re-installed my intake, I smeared both the o-rings and the rail with a thin film of Vaseline... definitely helped with the 3 or 4 times I remove the intake to fish out the support bolt from being dropped.

Everything tightened up correctly?  HPFP fittings, FPR etc etc?

As above, you may have pinched one or more of the low pressure side O rings on reassembly.  Maybe arm yourself with some fresh ones before going back in there again and also good advice from LC5F, lube the O rings with Vas, KY, Olive oil, butter, silicon grease, what ever takes your fancy.  Shafts don't like going in dry.
