Haynes manuals
« on: October 07, 2021, 09:48:57 pm »
Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy a manual for my mk5 gti but I was wondering if anyone has already brought the Haynes online manual and would be willing to send me the download document as money is a bit tight at the moment!

Thank you!

Don’t waste your money anyway, its not very good... I bought the paper copy when I got my Golf and wish I’d saved the money. Far more information on here.
Getting too old for this...

I like this site for info, but it's terrible, both visually and to navigate around.  If you have the patience for it, it's actual VW information and very useful.

Haynes is OK, for reference stuff, wiring diagrams and general information.

I am used to their vagueness and lies, if you can work out what is what in their lists, the torque wrench settings are really useful - I have a 1/2 drive in Nm and a 3/8 in Lb ft - with them listing both is a real help.

Just keep an eye out for a hardback edition used on ebay - Paper backs are just wrong!
