Brake Vacuum Hose
« on: January 15, 2022, 05:03:27 pm »
Hi,

I've got an air leak on a brake vacuum hose which i ordered a replacement for, I went to put the new one on today and noticed its go an extra little extension with a hole in which is causing it to suck in air. The old one doesn't have this. I've circled the extension that is extra on picture below. Does anyone know if you can just blank it off? Is this something that would fit newer mk 5 golfs as i believe the part No is right and does say it fits a mk5 golf gti

Thanks

Cheers for reply, in the end i ended up melting the end and sealing it which seems to have done the trick.
