Yet another post bare with me guys.
My edition 30 is still not running right. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes I know I need to get it logged which really isn’t as easy as it sounds.  I don’t have vag-com and no one local to me has one either.

I’ve bought a lead and a laptop to attempt to log it myself.

But In the mean time I had already ordered a new REV G diverter valve.

The car has been parked up since Wednesday bare in mind.

After work today I fitted the brand new REV G dv and now I have no induction sound at all yet the car still seems to be drivable.
There is no dv chatter/ compressor surge when coming off the throttle or changing gear

It’s also started being a tad lumpy on idle so I disconnected the maf sensor whilst running and the engine  dips in revs then levels out then when reconnected it grumbles and sounds like it’s missing??

You can noticeably hear the engine note change when Ii take the plug off then put back on.

So I’ve checked for codes with my obd reader.

The only fault code that popped up was when I disconnected the maf sensor then i cleared it and plugged the maf back in again.

I’ve also noticed when it’s idling I’m get a bit of smoke and what I’m sure looks like droplets of oil out the exhaust.

I’ve been under the car today and checked the actuator arm which seems to move freely and still seems intact ( when pulled you can feel the  resistance in the arm)

Some will say just chuck it in a garage which is all well and good when im nowhere near a decent garage who understands tfsi modified engines.

Yes r-tech seem to be the guys to go to but logistically is very tricky for me.

I have a good understanding of engines and how they work etc.

Seriously my issues seem to be getting worse daily. Wtf !!

New parts so far:-

RevG diverter valve ( tps today)
Vis internal pump (new)
Cam follower (new)
In tank pump 2nd hand unit
Creation motorsport intercooler and jubilee clipped silicone hoses

I have admittedly removed the intake from the turbo to replace a couple of clips.

That’s all I’ve done !!!

Prior to me touching anything the car was rapid in every gear as it should be.
It had the dv chatter /surge noise everytime I let of the throttle and pulled like it should.

I really love the car but it’s badly testing my patience.

They are hardly the most complicated cars in the world I just can’t get to the bottom of what’s causing this issue.
