best gearbox oil

as above whats the best stuff for lubrication and protection

I’m assuming manual gearbox.
Stick to the standard stuff, just Change it every few years even though it’s supposed to be filled for life.
There are lots of great oils out there, Redline are supposed to be one of the best transmission lubricants if you could match the oem spec but I wouldn’t bother.

Yes - stick with standard.

Only upgrade if you are doing a lot of tracking or have changed to something internal like LSD, there are specialist oils for them.

Usually new oil makes a big improvement in gear selection, other than selector re-alignment this is the easiest quick fix to box issues.
