Never straight forward
« on: April 06, 2022, 05:41:59 pm »
So after getting the tracking checked the inner rods and track rod ends are due a swap. All back together and drives spot on, but.

Yellow steering wheel light stays on. Haven't had chance to pop the scanner on it, will do on Friday as I'm off tomo. Anything obvious to check?

Cheers.

Nice one mate.

Tracking was marginally out yesterday, steering wheel not straight. So ended up replacing inner tie rods and the track rod ends. It feels spot on tbf just panicked with regards racks on these. But yeah will give the above a blast

Yeah made up. After the new parts and tracking etc it drives really well. Only cost me £20 too which is always a bonus.

Started the car to leave work and the light has come back on. Steering seems fine though :(

Orange light means adaptations not met, but should still get power assistance.  Red light means it's f'cked.

Yeah it's the yellow light.

Think it just needs re checking?.. It drives spot on so hoping its an easy fix.
