Removing centre caps

Is there an easy way to remove the centre caps on my 17” Monza’s without having to take the wheels off? I’ve had a quick go with some plastic trim tools but they wouldn’t budge…

I believe you need to remove each alloy and pop them off from the inside.

If you're not keeping them then drill or Stanley on them. I don't run any, they're a nuisance if you want access to axle bolts when they're on the ground.

If keeping I've seen some people put something super sticky on them and pull, like some gorilla tape.

stanly blade got mine out when i put new ones on, didnt have to take wheels off

Whilst I’m trying to keep my Golf “original”, 3 of the existing ones have basically completely whited over so I might drill a little hole in them.
I’ve bought VW ones to replace them, but Passat ones as I like the blue, but still an original VW part, so I guess it counts!

Also, if any mods are listening, the search function appears bust for me. But Google does find posts.

i just bought a set off ebay for about £12.99  couldnt tell the difference,  really wasnt that hard to remove anything stiff that you can force down the side of it will pop it out, you could even superglue a piece of string on each one then pull them out

Bit surprised at the suggestions for removal. Surely they just "pop" out? Never experienced any issues with my 17 year old.

Yes they do just pop out if you remove the wheel, which is what the OP was trying to avoid.
