Wanted a mk5 gti 5 door manual

As posted am looking to buy a Gti mk5 must be 5 door, manual, full gti leather and a SUNROOF ……no mods apart from exhaust maybe a light remap, full history, low mileage and fully loaded with usual extras. I am not fussed on Color’s but my fave are black or red but would consider others if the spec is right…green brown won’t be entertained.


I think I am looking for the holy grail!!!!! 

Mine has be scrapped not because of me but I soooooooooooo sooooo miss my little gti nothing new is appealing to me at all 😔

sorry no, im in northern ireland, and mine doesnt have the sunroof or leather seats, chose the tartan on purpose because leather is a terrible material for seats to be made out of, shorts or skirt you stick to them, trousers you slide all over them. but englands full of them have you tried pistonheads you can put in your spec and see what comes up

I know my last one had a sunroof ……….I can live without air con but not a sunroof 😂😍
See I know I am looking for the holy grail of Gti’s 😳

Much prefer mine with AC. Less hassle than a leaky and rusty sunroof.

I was going to say… do MK5 sunroofs leak? On newer cars they can be an asset but as they get older they can become a real pain. I specifically shopped for no sunroof.

@ breeze I had my mk5 for 8 years and never ever once did it leak  hence why I want one again had plenty hoses, air con etc leak or fail but never did sunroof let in 1 drop of water 😉 unless I left it open!!!!

The MK5 sunroof is pretty good. Reliable and leak free. The only issue with them is the heavy buffeting noises at certain speeds.

Aye!  Fully open is proper noisy!  Not really useable at motorway speeds at all

Work around is but only works with a 5 door…….open all 4 widows and hell you don’t air con 😂😂😂😘 but you hear nothing!!!
