I’ve owned my MK5 GTI 2005 DSG for about a year now and it’s been a dream. However, recently I’ve come into some issues which I’d appreciate some help with. long story short, my boot and rear wiper have stopped working. The boot doesn’t open and the rear wiper doesn’t operate at all. This was just the beginning…
Now there’s a fault with the locking system as I can’t lock and unlock the car from the inside (I’ve taken off the door card and checked the wiring and clips however it all seemed fine). On top of this, on my dashboard it shows a light error for the reverse light and rear fog light. I fitted in some new Osram bulbs yesterday however the reverse light and rear fog light still don’t light up.
The previous owner fitted on the taillight skyline mod and now the left inner circle is not lighting up either.
I believe this to all be connected maybe? I read up some similar issues on this forum however I still can’t seem to find anything that really helps. If anyone could offer some help I’d genuinely appreciate it, or even someone who can sort it out for me? (I’ll pay of course lol).
