Rub back and paint obvious rust and sandwich some massive washers over the holes that have rusted out and bolt them back down again

Started this today.  Didn't get far as I couldn't find my stubby triple square M14 socket, but found the longer one which I know is too long.  Lost all my patience within 2 mins of not finding the socket and then attacked it with a Dremel, which wasn't really successful.

Going to go at it with some tin snips tomorrow - it's so rusted it's flapping about so think I can get in there with some snips.  Basically going for a bodge!

If you're just removing, tin snips will work fine, that's how I got both of mine off

Yes, just removing them for now.  Need to buy some tin snips though!

Had the same problem, rusted through all screw holes and hit a pot hole thing was completely loose and rattling around. Used tin snips too, mine looked like these

Still haven't replaced them, have new ones waiting, I'm thinking I will put them on when I next do discs and pads. Really can't be assed with taking the hubs off so I will cut and paint the new ones
