Exactly the same as the springs, everything has to come off - so it just depends what you prefer and how much you want to spend?
Lowered springs are good, but I don't think you'll actually see much of a drop given that you're already lower than a GTI, unless you go silly... then you've got the problem of a stiffer spring to compensate and a unmatched damper that will bottom out and possibly fail.
My Eibach coils (which are made by KW) weren't that far off standard spec ride quality, the ARBs have stiffened that up further though now.
