Eibach coilovers vs springs

Need the car lowering :laugh: Dont want a huge drop, 30mm should be enough.
How much are eibach coilovers fitted?
How much are eibach lowering springs fitted?

just get the sportlines and most grg should only charge u £100 for doing it

im not well up on my lowering at all, sorry to chip in with a question

the sportlines? thats the springs only right? eibach?

is that £100 supply and fit or just fitting?

whats the drop normally with the sportlines? and how to the standard shocks put up with the lowering springs?

spend £200 on springs supply and fit or spend £800 on coilovers simple as that

Exactly the same as the springs, everything has to come off - so it just depends what you prefer and how much you want to spend?

Lowered springs are good, but I don't think you'll actually see much of a drop given that you're already lower than a GTI, unless you go silly... then you've got the problem of a stiffer spring to compensate and a unmatched damper that will bottom out and possibly fail.

My Eibach coils (which are made by KW) weren't that far off standard spec ride quality, the ARBs have stiffened that up further though now.

you dont need to spend 800, you can buy coilovers off ebay for about 300 quid, and springs for 70.

If i go for coilovers i would like good quality ones such as eibach, kw etc. Wouldnt want to risk getting cheap ones from ebay.
