no, i dont have them but have read reviews and they seem OK. if i wanted to lower my car and could only spend 300quid i defo get them

I have been led to believe the cheap coils are ok for normal everyday driving, but if you are thinking about going on track days and drive aggresively on the roads then they might not hold up, you get what you pay for.....

....The problem is that you may not always drive 'aggressively' on the roads but with a GTI there's bound to be times when it's safe to do so and so you do - It would be rude to say no. Would any driver in their right mind want to be wondering if their suspension was up to the job?

Sometimes being primarily led by saving money is just plain stoooopid.

Adjustable but not stainless!? - That's only okay if you only do track and change them regularly. Being galvanised (only intended for short term use) is why KW don't guarantee their race dampers.

....Agreed, but some people will do all sorts of things just to make money. Jews and Arabs (for example) very typically consider that it's your fault or problem if they succeed in selling you something which they may know is no good - It's a cultural thing.

i might get them gaz. h&R Springs have gone up a fortune now might just spend a bit more and the teh dampers too. 35mm drop you reckon?

to be honest Jay we had an issue with the rear ride height and we couldn't sort it, so Jim @ Awesome sorted me out with the coilovers, turns out is was the springs at fault which I believe has now been sorted. The kit performed really well, more controlled than std and better damped
