Has anyone changed from HID back to original halogen bulbs?
« on: January 07, 2023, 02:08:01 pm »
I'm doing this as I don't like the HIDs which were fitted by a previous owner. However, they used a cheap kit and have removed the headlight terminals in the bulb socket to wire directly onto the bulb. I'm not sure whether I will now need to replace the whole headlight unit as there's nowhere to connect the wires to

I'd have to see pictures, but usually these cheap HID kits are just plug and play. Hopefully cables haven't been spliced and soldered.

Shameless plug:
I'll have a set of halogen headlights (unmolested) soon. Changing over to factory xenon's so my standard halogens will be available for sale (Manchester).
