1.6 FSI exhaust swap

Hi all, first post here so hope I'm in the right place.

Looking to upgrade my factory exhaust for something a tad nicer, not after anything too extreme or loud as I'm aware I won't be gaining much in terms of power, just want something less restrictive and nicer to look at! Also aware I will be needing to replace the valance as the FSI has no cutouts. Any suggestions are welcome!

Also are MK5 exhausts interchangeable I.e. TSI or GTI exhausts (without too much persuasion or extra work)

The GTI system is a larger pipe diameter than a 1.6 and the CATS are in a different location etc so some sort of cutting and then an adapter pipe would need to be done to align and then mate them both up.

Not impossible but time, tools and resources to mod both systems into one........then the rear bumper would need trimming to allow the tailpipes out .
