Bung in Boot floor
« on: November 17, 2022, 09:32:58 pm »
Hi All,
Does anybody know the purpose of this bung in the boot floor? Mine has some moisture around it which hopefully was from the headlight screw leak I spotted today!.

Thanks

When one popped out of the boot floor on my old mk6 fiesta st I just treated it as an exhaust volume control - I could hear it rasp much better from within the cabin

It's just to cover a hole from the manufacturing process.  There are several of them throughout the car.
