Oil level warning light?
« on: March 11, 2023, 08:28:28 pm »
Hey.
I checked oil level and it looked like it was completely empty, I'm not sure, it's dark... Will check it again tomorrow when engine is cold. But let's say if it was completely empty, shouldn't i get oil level warning light on dash?
TIA

Mine wouldn't warn either - in the past when I was running it daily - I had a few scary dry dipsticks, but it seemed none the worse.
You just got to be regularly checking the oil level, I would say at the very least once a week or more often once you get a feel for how much it's going through.
Mine was drinking a lot, turbo seals and a head rebuild and it doesn't drink oil any more.
