Fuel pump relay location

Anyone know where the fuel pump relay actually is? That I can splice a kill switch into? I've been following documents online like this (can only find LHD info) https://www.google.com/amp/s/fuse-box.info/volkswagen/volkswagen-golf-v-mk5-2004-2009-fuses-and-relay which say port 5 on the top layer of the relays is for the fuel pump, well I've spliced into and it's obviously not, it will fail to turn over with it off but when it's running switching this off does nothing.

Or do I just splice into the cable that goes directly to the fuse for the fuel pump? Or is that a terrible idea?

I've never been able to find it mate.....or the LPFP fuse. 

There is an additional bunch of relays behind the driver's side knee panel (under the steering wheel), and I think there's a few more on the passenger side.  I gave up trying to find it years ago.  Would have been useful for doing compression checks etc.

Balls... if you can't find it then I've got no chance. That is the one under the wheel I should have said, the top left marked with 53 I think is the starter relay I'm sure of now.

Under the rear seat above the LPFP you can unplug the power control relay/module.

There is also fuse #27 15amp off the top of my head that kills the HPFP....I always pull this one and let the car run, until it dies to depressurise the HPFP to check the follower.

There is no relay for those from 2006 on. Could be there is no relay prior to 2006, but not 100% on that. It has the fuse and the control module on the LPFP access lid...under the rear seat.

On the 'side-dash' fuse panel...Fuse 2 is for the J538 - Fuel Pump Control Module; which again is placed into the LPFP access lid over the LPFP.

Interesting... is it OK to wire a switch directly into a wire that taps into the fuse then? Not too hot on electrics but all the tutorials mentioned about just tapping into the relay hence this looking like an rash job😐

My ED30 didn't have that fuse. The slot was empty. Good shout on pulling the plug on the LPFP though, I keep forgetting about that

Apologies. I posted incorrect info for F6 - SB6 before and edited the previous post. This pic I had saved some time ago as "fuel fuses" and incorrectly stated F6 was the LPFP when I posted it the other day. I have now edited the pic to state F6 is for the N276; which is the fuel pressure regulating valve on top of the HPFP.

Regarding the wiring...I shy away from wiring and was only posting so you know there is no relay from 2006 on and so you know what fuses relate to fuel components. With that said; wouldn't you only need to isolate the outgoing wire for the LPFP control module so only it functions per the switch?
