Front Indicator Not Working
«
on:

Hi guys,
Front offside indicator went on my 55 GTi yesterday after a 25 mile drive, bought a couple of new bulbs (from Halfords...), tried them both but neither working. Any idea what my issue might be if not the bulb?
Thanks in advance.

Just seen that's it's not actually blowing the bulbs. Must be a connection issue... due to heat, possibly?

Ok. I think the issue is the connector itself, that the indicator bulb sits in — does anyone know where I can get hold or a new/second-hand one without having to buy the entire headlamp unit? Big thanks in advance.

Chapter 4.
I bent the metal connectors out with a knife, put the bulb back in and hey presto, it's now working.
The end.
