Hi - Key fob randomly stopped working this morning. Unlocked the car fine to get to work but wouldn’t lock it once there. I changed the battery but no luck still. Went home at lunch and grabbed the spare key, that one isn’t working either (changed battery in that one too). Lights are flashing on fobs when you click buttons.
I’ve also changed the fuses in the box and tried various suggestions for “re-syncing” the keys but unfortunately no luck yet. Fuse diagram and ones I changed below:
I don’t have VAGCOM, a friend does have a scan tool he uses on his VW transporter though, so could scan for codes at the weekend.
I can lock and unlock all doors without issue from the buttons inside the car on the drivers side door.
Any suggestions? Seems odd that both wouldn’t work at the same time.
