Hi, does anyone know if its normal for pec rods to go purple/blue after few thousand miles or if they've just overheated from low oil or something? also if anyone knows an email or contact number for pec please reply with it thanks.

If they weren't that colour when new, then nope, that isn't a good sign. I would pull a cap and inspect the bearing. Perhaps not enough clearance. What bearings did you use?

Yes the bearings were bad but i was hoping that the rods were still fine but they’ve obviously overheated.

Yeah looks that way unfortunately. I would check the bearing clearances (a plasti guage kit will do) and make sure the oil passages aren't clogged.
