Dogbone insert
« on: May 16, 2023, 03:24:52 am »
hi guys,
i'm looking at the 034 billet dogbone mount insert, has anyone had any experience with this insert and how stiff is it and if the power flex insert is better i can see how the billet insert would be stiffer than the rubber power flex one.

i don't want a super uncomfortable ride so any help choosing is appreciated

I've got the 034 one, had it in for the last few years. I have the poweflex inserts in my engine and gearbox mountsm plus other poly bushes so can't say what just having the dog bone mount is like.

I can say that the above mods do make the car drive better though.

Your ride isn't stiff if that is the only mod. All you are doing is reducing how much the gearbox moves around.
