Pirelli Edition stage 2+ build - 09Pirelli

<< < (4/5) > >>

09Pirelli:

Getting ready for the tune I opted for the 034 billet dog bone insert over the power flex one because I wanted something a bit stronger than rubber, the vibration wasn’t even that bad if anything it made the car more direct, especially in first gear all the slop had gone.

09Pirelli:

A couple things I did was paint the calipers yellow and install sequential smoked indicators, just little things to make the car cleaner

09Pirelli:

Tune day, I dropped the car off to Graham at Lambda Performance for a Stage 2+ tune, it took about 2 hours and the only hiccup was a leaky dip stick, he had them in stock so we chucked a new one in and carried on, his tunes aren’t tuned on a dyno they are road tunes, witch is fine unfortunately it was wet that day so he might have had trouble tuning as there would have been no grip. At the end when I picked it up he said that car tuned up very well and no no issues, car should be making around the 370 mark with all my mods. I will be taking it on a dyno to confirm my actual number but for now im beating staged 355s, so all is dandy. Next on the mod list is engine mounts anti lift kit and an intercooler

Marticus:
Wow you're making good progress, I bet I feels world apart after the tune.

Good job on finding that diffuser, it's getting harder and harder to find body parts if you don't want maxtor or stuff from the US.

How was the fit and finish? I had a look since you posted the name of the firm and their r32 diffuser caught my interest.

09Pirelli:
the fit is pretty good, i definitely installed it wrong tho the fins arnt flush with my bumper at the moment there is like a 1cm gap but i will be fixing this when i take it off to paint it gloss black when i get a trc lip and side skirts kit
