Apologies if this has been answered already (I'm sure it probably has but I couldn't find it.)
So I have been fiddling around with my Carista OBD and got my DRL's working...sort of.
MY 54' GTI has auto headlights and by setting the US sides to on in carista app I have got the orange lit up but have the following questions/issues
- The orange only lights up with the lights set to Side or Main
I only really want the orange running and do not want the side lights to be on during the day as this seems rather pointless to me. This also means I can no longer use the auto lights function correctly, is this something that can be altered?
- Can someone explain to me what the outer section of the headlights bottom strip do? I've seen the xenon's with all of this strip lit in orange as DRL's but I don't actually know what purpose this part of the lamp has?
