rpm's on cluster higher than it really is.

Hey guys,

Switched my cluster to a 2d cluster from my old red screen one. After i did this i've struggled with the RPM's being way higher than the actual rpm's..

I've been told it might be because i need it coded in eeprom to match old instrument cluster?
