Car starts then dies

Hi i have a mk5 git 2007 bwa
Recently i had installed ecs tunings high flow intercooler pipes for inlet and outlet. After when i turned the car on it would start then die after a few seconds. I unplugged the maf sensor and the car stayed running.

I dont have vcds but do have a cheap scannner and found codes for maf sensor and  p2261 for divortor valve. I changed the diverter valve for a genuine rev g and borrowed a maf sensor off another gti and clear the codes. Started it and it lasted a bit longer but still died.

There was another senor that was on the inter cooler pipe to throttle body but i used the same sensor and it was plugged in ok

Does any one have any clue to what could have happen?

Sounds like a major vacuum leak.  Re check your hoses to the IC

Hi i rechecked the pipes and they are all tight but still cuts out with maf connected
