Yeah I’m very happy with the b12 sportline kit. Holds the road very well and doesn’t feel crashy or harsh atall IMO! Just been out for 30 mins this morning after fitting yesturday and I’m very glad I went for the b12! Out of interest pudding, how long ago did you use the b12 sportline kit? Maybe they’ve made some changes as again, it sits very well and doesn’t feel anything like you described?

I had my 75k mile Gti done at the weekend.

Sachs OEM front and rear shocks
TTRS Topmounts and new bearings
OE Quality balljoints and droplinks

Feels more planted and less rattled over rough ground now. It was not too bad before to be honest but thought it was time to do it. It was not a bad idea after all as front nearside was weeping.

Does anyone have part numbers for the stock springs? Not overly happy with the drop on these Eibachs. Maybe I'm just getting old

I use those or the Febi Bilstein ones. Or Meyle HD are good also as heavier duty than OE for droplinks

The picture above is of my ed30 with the correctsport line kit. It is barely any lower than it was before? Don’t understand why people keep saying it makes it too low 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're right, it doesn't look any lower - I don't understand that. I've currently got sportline springs (which should be the same as yours) and the drop over stock was very significant. Not happy with it and fancy new dampers so going for the pro kit instead.

The Eibachs with B4s make the rear lower than yours, front is the same. Definitely too low for me so when I can I'd like to swap them out for springs that are near stock.

Yeah that looks spot on 

It was years ago I tried the B12 Sportline.  Maybe they have made some changes then because it used to be so bad, people were using MK6 dampers instead as they were known to be softer valved.  Glad you're happy with it.  I do really like how monotubes drive compared to twin tubes, you'll have a lot of fun with that

I've had two springs flagged in my last MOT so considering a full refresh whilst I'm at it. I think I've found why the B12 sportline has some mixed reviews. Seems there's two part numbers, one with 20-25mm front drop and 30-35mm rear drop. The other has 20-25mm front drop and 20mm rear drop.

Perhaps someone with some more knowledge will correct me? But if not I'm hoping this will help someone out!
