Swapping circuit boards between key fobs

I have managed to get a mk5 key that is barely used. My spare key is a low budget copy of the main key and the circuit board is very slow (takes 1-2 seconds to unlock the car from the moment that i press the button). Is there a way to pair the logic board from the barely used key with the transponder from the low budget key, so I can have proper remote controls and also be able to start the car?
