Chain tensioner

MKVASMR:
I recently replaced the chain with all of the following parts. The question I’m having is the chain supposed to have slack underneath after releasing the pin? I used IWIS tensioner and chain. And if it’s not, is it possible to remove the tensioner without removing the adjuster and chain?
