Rear Door Not Locking

Hi ,

the back driver side rear door on my mk5 2008 1.9 diesel golf would never lock-

I have since changed out the entire back door amongst 2 others which both lock fine since changing , but the drivers side rear door will still not lock I'm lost as to what could be the issue

Any help is appreciated
