Passat b6 in a mk5 golf
« on: November 22, 2024, 10:33:57 am »
hello, i fitted some passat b6 seats on my mk5 TDI, the fronts bolted right up, airbags plugged just fine with no codes, as for the manual to eletric lombar and lean ajustments i had to come up with a temporary solution. The rears were a completely diferent story, since the mounts are diferent and the passat backs are about 10cm taller, the sollution was simple. i had someone undo all the apolstering in both the mk5 and the passat seats and refit and adjust the passat covers to the mk5 frame.
all said and done i think they look amazing and completely transform the look of the car, i belive they are a great alternative to a set of gti seats as the are getting quite expensive. added bonus if the fact that the passat seats feel so much more confortable than the originals and the lower back support is awsome.
