Throwout Bearing Air Gap
« on: June 02, 2024, 07:18:25 am »
I upgraded the clutch in my 08 GTI to a TTRS plate  and everything was fine for about 2 months until my slave cylinder started leaking. I decided to get an aftermarket hydraulic bearing but i can't get any air gap.I also suspect the OEM  bearing was bottomed out based on the measurements, which lead to its failure. Is there anyway to get some space between the bearing and the pressure plate?I am out of ideas with this transmission, and I'd appreciate any input.
