How install a k03 hybrid (considerations)?
« on: June 06, 2024, 08:31:03 pm »
Hello all guys.
I have a golf 5 gti with code motor axx and I want to change the stock turbo k03 for an hybrid k03 and do a remap of the ECU.

BTW, the rest of the car is fully stock.

Can you please tell me if I have to take any special consideration for the installation or extra hardware that I will need to buy?

Thanks in advance for the support

Pretty much follow this article. Change seals, studs and nuts as those are one-time use. If it's a direct fit hybrid turbo, you don't need anything extra other than all parts you need for a normal turbo replacement.
