Standard Intake Options?
« on: June 17, 2024, 10:28:00 am »
Hey all,

I have a Creations Motor Sport CAI induction kit on my KO4 BWA engine and its starting to annoy me... maybe im getting old

Its a 90mm tube with foam filter and the constant induction noise is wearing thin.

I want to go to something quieter, preferably with a paper filter, that'll still breathe enough for 300+bhp.

I'm really not a fan of the standard mk5 engine cover/filter set-up so what other options have I got?

Cheers

The BMC CDA is a good option, good filters those and not too noisy.

The stock intake is not a restriction until 300hp anyway, so is fine for most Stage 1 - 2 tunes, but if you want quiet, that is the quietest option.
