What cluster PN do you currently have.  The early highline ones ending 970, 971, 972 (to 2006 roughly) can be reprogrammed DIY style

The steering wheel modules vary also, and have to match to the slip ring.

So one ending in G, AG, AJ, AK, AL etc

You need to get a highline type 2 module that is, as yours is a midline type 2

Then there is the VCDS coding of it all

https://www.uk-mkivs.net/threads/how-to-multifunction-steering-wheel-mk5-golf-h.10129/

Done a few cars in the past, and you have to follow the procedure exactly, otherwise the coding does not take and you have to start from the beginning again.

I am still searching for those clusters so i dont have it right now. Someone mentioned that module ending with CH should work but i see that CH module is other SW versiom than mine, does that matter?

CH command strong prices for some reason. The AG and others in the list will work just as well

Yes, just not sure why the focus is on the CH as there are many other versions available
